• ensure our decisions and activities are in keeping with the commonly held core beliefs of sound environmental practice,
• promote awareness among our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner,
• train, educate and inform Computer Recyclers' employees on health and environmental issues which may affect their work,
• reduce company waste through re-use and recycling where applicable and by purchasing recycled, recyclable or re-furbished products and materials where these alternatives are available, economical and suitable,
• create a mind set conducive to the efficient use of materials and resources throughout our facility including water, electricity, and other resources, especially those that are non-renewable,
• avoid the use of hazardous materials and products, seek substitutions when feasible, and take all necessary steps to protect human health and the environment,
• purchase and use environmentally responsible products accordingly,
• develop and maintain appropriate emergency and spill response programmes,
• communicate our environmental commitment to clients, customers and the public and encourage them to support it,
• monitor the health, safety and environmental aspects of our operations and conduct investigations of incidents as they are deemed worthy of such,
• strive to continually improve our environmental performance and reduce the impact and damage of activities by periodical review of environmental policies.
