Computer Recyclers Inc. is a corporation whose area of expertise is the safe and ethical disposal of obsolete computers and electronics. Our experience as a company dates back to 1993, but our cumulative experience in scrap metal, recycling, electronics and computers is about 70 years.
We are looking to fill the position of Scrapper/Disassembler and invite all those qualified candidates to read carefully the following requirements and submission instructions.
Computer Recyclers Inc. is looking to hire the following staff:
Position: Computer Scrapper/Labourer (1)
Duties: Take apart computer equipment
Load and unload trucks
Help to open and close facility on a daily basis
Deal with customers and staff in a friendly and courteous manner
Maintain cleanliness of facility
Other duties as required
Skills: Experience in the use of hand tools without need of training
Familiar with computer hardware and its disassembly
Able to be a self-starter
Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
Punctuality
Able to remember and follow instructions
Must Have: Well groomed appearance
Clean driving record with Class G or higher license
No criminal convictions
Ability to be bonded and security cleared (checks will be performed)
Good work history and attitude towards others

Compensation: $9.00 per hour to start, 40 hours per week.
This is a full time position for a high energy individual with proficient people skills and excellent manual dexterity to dismantle computer equipment. Knowledge and use of various hand tools is essential. Candidates must also posess a current and valid driver's license, and valid authorization to work in Canada.
In the position we are hiring for, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and primary processing of obsolete computers and other equipment. All tools are provided. Must have your own steel toed boots and be able to lift over 40 kg. Pay is $9.00 per hour to start and can be increased after the 90 day probation period.
You must have no criminal record as we require our employees to work with secure matters and materials. You will be required to sign and be legally able to hold to a non-disclosure agreement as well as release forms for media purposes. You must have no physical disability which will limit or prohibit the heavy, repetitive lifting required for this position.
